The Mounds Golden Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Porter Pirates to 42 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haskell for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Mounds will meet a Haymakers team coming off a 73-35 non-league win over Newkirk (Newkirk, OK). The Haymakers record now stands at 6-8.
The Pirates (0-17) will now prepare for their contest against Summit Christian Academy (Broken Arrow, OK). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Summit Christian Academy triumphed over Chelsea (Chelsea, OK), 57-46, in a non-league contest.
