The Porter Pirates basketball team (Porter, OK), was overwhelmed 53-23 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Mounds Golden Eagles (Mounds, OK)
The Golden Eagles now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summit Christian Academy for a Frisco battle on Tuesday, January 30. Mounds will battle a Eagles team coming off a 56-40 non-league win over Chouteau-Mazie (Chouteau, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
The Pirates (1-19) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Mounds, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Liberty trounced Haskell (Haskell, OK), 69-28, in a non-league battle.
