The Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) basketball felled the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), 44-27 in Friday's league test.
The Warriors (19-0) will now prepare for their test against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, West Aurora was beaten by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 73-60, in a league test.
The Redhawks now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Columbus for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Naperville Central will encounter a Sailors squad coming off a 63-34 non-league loss to Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA). The Sailors record now stands at 3-11.
