In Friday's league outing, the Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX), by a margin of 62-28.

The Mustangs (15-10) will now prepare for their outing against Berkner (Richardson, TX). The Rams go into the 6A Region I District 7 outing with a 8-19 record. In their last outing, Berkner was trounced by Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX), 76-68, in a league outing.

The Vikings now own a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richardson for a 6A Region I District 7 match on Tuesday, January 23. Nimitz will meet a Eagles team coming off a 58-51 league win over MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 20-7.
