North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky Mount Prep beaten by Southeast Halifax

The Southeast Halifax Trojans ran past the visiting Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars basketball team by a final score of 82-66 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke game, on Tuesday, January 23. Southeast Halifax will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 2-14 record after their 51-39 league loss to Warren County (Warrenton, NC).

With the defeat, Rocky Mount Prep moves to 1-7 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 24. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 3-10. Tarboro won 78-58 in their recent league game against Perquimans (Hertford, NC)
