Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI), 66-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Thornapple Kellogg upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Trojans travel to Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI) to clash with the Knights in a Ottawa-Kent - Black bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the South Christian Sailors (Grand Rapids, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Wayland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Sailors go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 60-56 non-league loss to Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI).
