The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans basketball team (Middleville, MI), was nudged 52-51 in Friday's league battle with the host Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI)

The Wildcats now sport a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Christian for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold battle on Tuesday, February 20. Wayland will battle a Sailors team coming off a 85-66 league win over Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Sailors record now stands at 14-5.

The Trojans (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Knights come into the Ottawa-Kent - Gold battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Kenowa Hills was nudged by Forest Hills Eastern (Ada, MI), 58-57, in a league battle.
