The Pepperell Dragons basketball team (Lindale, GA), dropped 48-28 in Friday's league battle with the host Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA)
The Indians now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bremen for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 20. Armuchee will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 40-36 league loss to Ridgeland (Rossville, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-6.
The Dragons (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against Trion (Trion, GA). The Bulldogs come into the A D1 Region 7 battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Trion prevailed over Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA), 62-30, in a non-league battle.
