Oregon High School Basketball - Seaside overwhelmed by Astoria

The Astoria Fishermen basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Seaside Seagulls to 22 in the Fishermen league victory on Friday.
The Fishermen now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cascade for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Astoria will battle a Cougars team coming off a 76-15 league win over Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 7-4.
The Seagulls (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Helens (St. Helens, OR). The Lions come into the 4A Cowapa contest with a 6-7 record.
