In Saturday's league match, the visiting Astoria Fishermen basketball team scored a good 35-27 triumph over the Seaside Seagulls.
In their next game, the Fishermen meet the Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR) in a 4A Cowapa match, on Tuesday, February 6. Astoria will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record.
With the defeat, Seaside moves to 10-6 on the year. The Seagulls host St. Helens (St. Helens, OR) to meet the Lions in a 4A Cowapa match on Tuesday, February 6. The Lions enter the match with a record of 8-11.
