The Blacksher Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Chickasaw Chieftains to 46 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington County for a 2A Area 1 contest on Monday, January 22. Blacksher will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-49 non-league win over Leroy (Leroy, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-0.
The Chieftains (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against St. Luke's Episcopal (Mobile, AL). The Wildcats come into the 2A Area 1 contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, St. Luke's Episcopal prevailed over Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL), 57-47, in a league contest.
