With the victory, Fairfield upgrades its record to 25-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX) to play the Goats in a 3A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Goats come into the bout with a record of 12-9. Groesbeck lost 51-27 in their recent league bout against Elkhart (Elkhart, TX)

Next up, the Bison play the Teague Lions (Teague, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Buffalo will attempt to upgrade on its 7-19 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 15-12 record after their 37-36 league win over Westwood (Palestine, TX).
