The Eagles now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Groesbeck for a 3A Region III District 20 battle on Friday, December 15. Fairfield will confront a Goats team coming off a 38-35 league win over Elkhart (Elkhart, TX). The Goats record now stands at 9-4.
The Bison (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Teague (Teague, TX). The Lions come into the 3A Region III District 20 battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Teague trounced Westwood (Palestine, TX), 58-43, in a league battle.
