The Carlin Railroaders basketball team scored 27 points and restricted the host Jackpot Jaguars to 17 in the Railroaders league victory on Friday.
The Railroaders now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Mountain for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Carlin will battle a Knights team coming off a 45-10 non-league loss to Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.
The Jaguars (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Owyhee (Owyhee, NV). The Braves come into the 1A East contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Owyhee prevailed over Wells (Wells, NV), 47-39, in a league contest.
