Carlin Railroaders (Carlin, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jackpot Jaguars (Jackpot, NV), 33-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Carlin upgrades its record to 4-18 on the season.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV) in a 1A East bout, on Saturday, February 10. Jackpot will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 46-34 league win over Wells (Wells, NV).
