Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Central Panthers (Independence, OR), 61-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Crescent Valley upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to West Albany (Albany, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout on Monday, January 22. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 7-6. West Albany lost 54-34 in their recent league bout against South Albany (Albany, OR)

Next up, the Panthers play the McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout, on Saturday, January 20. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Royal Scots come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 49-42 league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR).
