The Central Panthers (Independence, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR), 55-42 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (12-9) will now prepare for their test against McKay (Salem, OR). The Royal Scots go into the 5A Mid-Willamette test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, McKay went down by Lebanon (Lebanon, OR), 51-31, in a league test.
The Raiders now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Silverton for a 5A Mid-Willamette test on Tuesday, February 20. Crescent Valley will encounter a Foxes squad coming off a 48-39 league win over Corvallis (Corvallis, OR). The Foxes record now stands at 17-4.
