The Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC) basketball crushed the host Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), 61-28 in Friday's league test.

The Chargers (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Knights go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Greenfield was trounced by Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC), 65-28, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne Christian for a NCISAA Coastal Plain test on Monday, January 22. Epiphany will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 65-28 league win over Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-1.
