Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), 61-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Wayne Country Day upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Chargers travel to Greenfield (Wilson, NC) to play the Knights in a NCISAA Coastal Plain bout on Friday, February 2. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Greenfield lost 63-37 in their recent league bout against Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC)

Next up, the Falcons play the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain bout, on Thursday, February 1. Epiphany will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 36-34 league loss to Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC).
