With the win, Grand Ledge upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Comets travel to Everett (Lansing, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-6.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Okemos Wolves (Okemos, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue bout, on Monday, January 22. Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 66-39 league loss to Holt (Holt, MI).
