Michigan High School Basketball - Waverly can't hold off Grand Ledge

The Grand Ledge Comets basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Waverly Warriors to 48 in the Comets league triumph on Thursday.
The Comets now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Lansing for a Capital Area - Blue contest on Tuesday, February 20. Grand Ledge will battle a Trojans team coming off a 54-42 league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 11-6.
The Warriors (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Everett (Lansing, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Everett was nudged by Holt (Holt, MI), 52-7, in a non-league contest.
