The Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT) basketball crushed the host Hand Tigers (Madison, CT), 70-31 in Friday's non-league test.
The (12-0) will now prepare for their test against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Lyman Hall walloped Cheshire (Cheshire, CT), 41-36, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Haven for a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque test on Monday, January 22. Hand will encounter a Nighthawks squad coming off a 55-44 non-league loss to West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 8-4.
