Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hand Tigers (Madison, CT), 80-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sacred Heart Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The travel to Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Lyman Hall lost 57-55 in their recent non-league bout against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the North Haven Nighthawks (North Haven, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Hand will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 66-55 non-league win over West Haven (West Haven, CT).
