The Northside Indians basketball team (Vernon, TX), was overwhelmed 74-22 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Harrold Hornets (Harrold, TX)

The Hornets now possess a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benjamin for a 1A Region II District 16 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Harrold will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 43-24 league win over Chillicothe (Chillicothe, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-11.

The Indians (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Crowell (Crowell, TX). The Wildcats come into the 1A Region II District 16 battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Crowell was overwhelmed by Electra (Electra, TX), 47-26, in a league battle.
