The St. Edmond Gaels basketball team (Fort Dodge, IA), was overwhelmed 61-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA)

The Wildcats now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Algona for a North Central battle on Tuesday, January 23. Humboldt will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-26 non-league win over Spencer (Spencer, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-3.

The Gaels (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Lynx come into the non-league battle with a 0-13 record. In their last battle, Webster City was overwhelmed by Algona (Algona, IA), 77-40, in a non-league battle.
