The Humboldt Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting St. Edmond Gaels to 29 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Algona for a North Central contest on Tuesday, December 12. Humboldt will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-23 non-league win over Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
The Gaels (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Lynx enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Webster City was routed by Algona (Algona, IA), 66-23, in a non-league contest.
