Morgan Park Academy Warriors (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus Ravens (Chicago, IL), 46-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Morgan Park Academy upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Universal (Bridgeview, IL) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Stars come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Universal won 55-35 in their recent league bout against College Prep of America (Lombard, IL)

Next up, the Ravens play the Intrinsic Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 0-0 non-league Douglass (Chicago, IL).
