Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME), 76-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Oceanside upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Mariners travel to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME) to play the Eagles in a B South bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Lincoln Academy won 67-26 in their recent non-league bout against Winslow (Winslow, ME)

Next up, the Shipbuilders play the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) in a B South bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Morse will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 54-28 league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME).
