Texas High School Basketball - Sundown knocked off by Ropes

The Ropes Eagles basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Sundown Roughnecks to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seagraves for a 2A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 23.

The Roughnecks (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Post (Post, TX). The Antelopes enter the 2A Region I District 5 contest with a 3-19 record. In their last contest, Post was defeated by New Home (New Home, TX), 64-10, in a league contest.
