In Friday's league outing, the Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), by a count of 36-20.
The Hawks (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Telstar (Bethel, ME). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Telstar was topped by Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME), 91-30, in a non-league outing.
The Rangers now hold a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Winthrop for a C South outing on Monday, January 22. Traip will clash with a Ramblers squad coming off a 58-45 league win over Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME). The Ramblers record now stands at 7-3.
