Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), 45-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sacopee Valley upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME) to play the Panthers in a C South bout on Thursday, January 4. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 5-0. North Yarmouth Academy won 58-35 in their recent league bout against Poland (Poland, ME)

Next up, the Rangers play the Poland Knights (Poland, ME) in a C South bout, on Thursday, January 4. Traip will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 58-35 league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME).
