University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA), 5-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars confront the Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) in a Cross Valley challenge, on Friday, January 26. University Prep will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Silver Knights enter the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA).

The Knights now have a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Big Bear for a Cross Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 24. Academy for Academic Excellence will confront a Bears team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The Bears record now stands at 10-11.
