University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA), 5-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars face the Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) in a Cross Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. University Prep will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Silver Knights enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 4-2 league win over Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA).

The Knights now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Big Bear for a Cross Valley challenge on Friday, January 5. Academy for Academic Excellence will face a Bears team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The Bears record now stands at 10-5.
