The Warren County Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Northwest Halifax Vikings to 36 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host KIPP Pride for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Warren County will battle a Pride team coming off a 57-54 non-league loss to Weldon (Weldon, NC). The Pride record now stands at 2-7.
The Vikings (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Southeast Halifax was defeated by Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC), 68-52, in a non-league contest.
