The Warren County Eagles basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings to 38 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to KIPP Pride for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Warren County will meet a Pride team coming off a 45-32 non-league loss to Weldon (Weldon, NC). The Pride record now stands at 0-1.

The Vikings (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Southeast Halifax nudged Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 68-49, in a non-league contest.
