The Briarcrest Christian Saints basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Memphis East Mustangs to 54 in the Saints non-league triumph on Monday.

The Saints now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Germantown for a non-league contest on Monday, January 2. Briarcrest Christian will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 69-55 non-league win over Hillcrest (Memphis, TN). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-3.

The Mustangs (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Whitehaven (Memphis, TN). The Tigers enter the 4A District 16 contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Whitehaven ran past Mitchell (Memphis, TN), 81-41, in a non-league contest.
