Virginia High School Basketball - Alleghany falls to Liberty

In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Liberty Minutemen basketball squad scored a nice 65-54 victory over the Alleghany Mountaineers.
With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Seminole challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Liberty Christian won 42-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Alleghany will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 58-10 non-league win over Northwood (Saltville, VA).
