Nebraska High School Basketball - Millard South can't hold off Bellevue West

The Bellevue West Thunderbirds basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Millard South Patriots to 53 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Monday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Bellevue West will battle a Lynx team coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 6-2.

The Patriots (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs enter the A District TBD contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Papillion-LaVista nudged Omaha South (Omaha, NE), 72-41, in a non-league contest.
