The Mohawk Area Warriors basketball team (Bessemer, PA), dropped 58-45 in Monday's league battle with the host Laurel Spartan (New Castle, PA)
The Spartan now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neshannock for a WPIAL 3A 1 battle on Thursday, January 5. Laurel will confront a Lancers team coming off a 51-27 league win over Lincoln (Ellwood City, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-4.
The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA). The Tigers come into the WPIAL 3A 1 battle with a 1-3 record.
