Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) and the host Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL), saw Tremont's basketball squad knock off Tri-Valley by a count of 61-47.

With the victory, Tremont upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Turks travel to Farmington (Farmington, IL) to play the Farmers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Farmers come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Farmington lost 51-23 in their recent league challenge against Elmwood (Elmwood, IL)

Next up, the Vikings play the Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Tri-Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 55-44 non-league loss to Tuscola (Tuscola, IL).
