In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns basketball team scored a good 41-25 triumph over the Wells Leopards.
In their next game, the Longhorns meet the Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV) in a match, on Friday, January 6. Battle Mountain will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Nighthawks enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 35-32 non-league loss to Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV).
With the defeat, Wells moves to 0-6 on the year. The Leopards travel to Lighthouse Christian (Twin Falls, ID) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, January 14. The Lions enter the match with a record of 3-1.
