Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wells Leopards (Wells, NV), 37-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Battle Mountain upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV) to clash with the Buckaroos in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Buckaroos go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
