Wisconsin High School Basketball - Appleton North can't hold off Fond du Lac

The Fond du Lac Cardinals basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Appleton North Lightning to 60 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kimberly for a Fox Valley contest on Friday, January 5. Fond du Lac will battle a Papermakers team coming off a 75-70 league loss to Oshkosh North (Oshkosh, WI). The Papermakers record now stands at 5-4.
The Lightning (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bay Port (Green Bay, WI). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Bay Port was nudged by Kimberly (Kimberly, WI), 61-51, in a non-league contest.
