The Appleton North Lightning basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Fond du Lac Cardinals to 58 in the Lightning league triumph on Friday.
The Lightning now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kaukauna for a Fox Valley contest on Tuesday, February 13. Appleton North will meet a Galloping Ghosts team coming off a 76-59 league win over Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI). The Galloping Ghosts record now stands at 15-6.
The Cardinals (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kimberly (Kimberly, WI). The Papermakers enter the Fox Valley contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Kimberly was outscored by Oshkosh North (Oshkosh, WI), 86-76, in a league contest.
