The Bonny Eagle Scots basketball team (Standish, ME), was toppled 69-58 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME)
The Spartans now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gorham for a AA South battle on Thursday, January 4. Sanford will confront a Rams team coming off a 75-41 league win over Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Rams record now stands at 6-1.
The Scots (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Deering (Portland, ME). The Rams come into the AA South battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Deering beat South Portland (South Portland, ME), 57-47, in a league battle.
