The Weatherford Eagles basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Clinton Red Tornadoes to 22 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Webster for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Weatherford will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-20 non-league loss to Rejoice Christian (Owasso, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 1-7.

The Red Tornadoes (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Community Christian (Norman, OK). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Community Christian was routed by Casady (Oklahoma City, OK), 58-56, in a non-league contest.
