Illinois High School Basketball - Lexington routs Tri-Point

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL), by a margin of 96-25.

The Minutemen (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Peoria Heights was trounced by Princeville (Princeville, IL), 71-44, in a non-league outing.

The Chargers now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host Beecher for a River Valley outing on Friday, January 5. Tri-Point will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 49-42 non-league win over Mercer County (Aledo, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 16-0.
