The Miller Grove Hornets basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy to 32 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 4-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy for a 1A Region III District 23 contest on Friday, January 5. Miller Grove will meet a team coming off a 71-16 non-league loss to Boles (Quinlan, TX). The record now stands at 0-8.
The (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Dodd City (Dodd City, TX). The Hornets enter the 1A Region III District 23 contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Dodd City ran past Savoy (Savoy, TX), 49-27, in a league contest.
