Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA), 52-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gilbert upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Boone (Boone, IA) to play the Toreadors in a Raccoon River bout on Friday, January 5. The Toreadors come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Boone lost 46-32 in their recent league bout against Carroll (Carroll, IA)

Next up, the Bluejays play the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, January 5. Bondurant-Farrar will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Comets come into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 53-32 league win over Ballard (Huxley, IA).
