Iowa High School Basketball - Gilbert can't hold off Bondurant-Farrar

The Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Gilbert Tigers to 45 in the Bluejays league triumph on Friday.

The Bluejays now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Polk for a Raccoon River contest on Tuesday, February 6. Bondurant-Farrar will battle a Comets team coming off a 48-43 league win over Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Comets record now stands at 18-2.

The Tigers (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll (Carroll, IA). The Tigers enter the Raccoon River contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Carroll nudged Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA), 48-35, in a non-league contest.
